RESEARCH INTERESTS
-
Research is focused on the development of advanced materials and devices for energy harvesting applications, particularly leveraging the piezoelectric and ferroelectric properties of functional materials. This includes the synthesis and characterization of nanostructured thin films and bulk ceramics with enhanced electromechanical coupling coefficients, high dielectric constants, and stable ferroelectric polarization.
-
A key aspect of this work involves exploring novel perovskite-based and lead-free materials for efficient mechanical-to-electrical energy conversion. Investigations include understanding domain dynamics, polarization switching behavior, and strain engineering to optimize the energy conversion efficiency under various mechanical stimuli.
